During my recent Christmas getaway at Ouril Mindelo, I was genuinely charmed by the experience, especially alongside my travel buddy who shares my passion for exploring unique destinations. The hotel is perfectly situated near the vibrant port and a variety of delightful restaurants, making it an absolute treat for food lovers like us. We stayed in a spacious double room with a lovely balcony, overlooking the inviting pool, and the air conditioning was a much-appreciated comfort in the warm Cape Verde sun. Breakfast was a daily highlight-imagine a buffet brimming with fresh local treats, all enjoyed while soaking in the breathtaking harbour views from the rooftop restaurant. What truly made our stay memorable, though, was the attentive and friendly staff who effortlessly addressed our requests, truly embodying that warm island hospitality. If you're planning a visit, know that Ouril Mindelo is a gem that beautifully marries comfort, convenience, and charm, perfect for anyone looking for a slice of paradise.
